The WINNER Hackathon Open Call selected the 10 most promising and innovative social ideas per country in six different countries (France, Spain, Turkey, Italy, Cyprus and Bulgaria) with high potential for market.
We are delighted to share with you the highlights and results of our recent final event held in Valencia on February 27 & 28, which marked the conclusion of the WINNER project (Working to Improve New Networks and Employment Routes). Stakeholders dedication and collaboration along the way have been key to achieving our goals.
As we begin a new year, Project Winner is ending. Its goal was to help women entrepreneurs develop their talents. With Winner, we wanted to inspire women and stimulate their interest in pursuing entrepreneurial careers by challenging them during hackathon sessions in November and December 2023.
WINNER Hackathon: What is it?
In the vibrant pulse of the WINNER project, our Hackathon is currently in full swing across partner countries, setting the stage for transformative entrepreneurial journeys. This unique event is an immersive dive into the world of social entrepreneurship, where participants are refining their innovative concepts for a lasting impact.
The WINNER consortium has met on March 1st and 2nd in Italy to review the progress of our initiative at an interim phase and plan our next steps. We had a very productive session, including Italian female entrepreneurs and mentors, who joined us to share ideas and feedback. The meeting was hosted by APID Torino.
The open enrollment period has ended for the WINNER Women’s Entrepreneurship Education Program, which is built on age, cultural and socially neutral policies to overcome the relevant stereotypes. The project attracted 87 applicants from 6 countries with a commitment to active participation in the WINNER programme.

WINNER: Women Inclusion through Innovative Social Entrepreneurship Practices Design is a European project dedicated to supporting women to fulfil their trajectory in the entrepreneurial world. The materialization of the WINNER project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
